Monitoring - We want to let you know about a key system upgrade today that didn’t go according to plan. In recent months we have seen significant increases in system usage by customers. Our team designed and implemented several upgrades of our underlying infrastructure designed to enable us to scale to more customers while incorporating new technologies that provide increased performance, stability, and preparation for future new features.
Today our team deployed the new version. We found that a key subsystem did not perform as expected. Because this was a critical system, it had impacts that necessitated returning to the prior infrastructure while the configuration is corrected.
Our team initiated a roll back to the prior version which is now live. All systems are operational. Once we review the problematic subsystem we will carefully plan a new roll out.
